The “Search for the XML Superstar” to start in South East Asia

Following the announcement of the worldwide initiative, the Search for the XML Superstar, the contest will start in August for ASEAN (Association of South East Asia Nations). Participating countries in ASEAN include Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Indonesia.

The contest is aimed at demonstrating the benefits of DB2 and related technologies to existing and upcoming generation of information management professionals including students, faculty and professional developers. In addition to honing new skills, participants will be eligible to win valuable prizes, including trips to IBM lab, laptops and Nintendo systems.
