Hi Emidio, do you want to participate in the 1Q2009 DB2 on Campus newsletter? If so, please update the wiki with your profile and articles you'd like to write (even just in Italian). Thanks
Hi Emidio, when my currint DB2 9 Fundamentals Workshop at the Toronto Lab is finished this March, I'd like to start a "virtual" one for DB2 student ambassadors in Italy (maybe April - June time period; right now all the students are involved in exams). Hope you'll work with me to get it going. ;-)
Hi Emidio, thanks for your comment in the Puglia group! Thanks also for the correction/explanation of "province" (I wasn't aware of that distinction). I would love your help in getting some university students from Puglia to join channelDB2. Do you know of any? If so, please invite them to join that group. I only presented to PhD. students in Puglia universities, and unfortunately I didn't get anyone's e-mail address. I would love to get an ambassador from Puglia too.
So if Basilicata is another region, why don't you also start a "DB2 in Basilicata" group and get some students from that region to join (including an ambassador, if you can). Thanks! ;-)
Hi Emidio, see this discussion in DB2 in Brazil: Translate or not? (and also see my response). Start a similar discussion on DB2 in Salerno to see what the students think, and if they're interested in helping with the translation. I checked with the manager, and the names of the translators can appear on the first page of the certification material, e.g., on the first page of each tutorial, and also on the first page of each presentation. Thanks!
Hi Emidio, when Raul and I visited the University of Salerno, we were introduced to some interesting projects that were using DB2, or were going to be using DB2. As I asked Luca/Tycos to do for Federico II, can you do the same thing for University of Salerno. (See Luca's page for details.) Again, no rush, just when you have free time between your studies. ;-) Thanks!
Ciao, Emidio! Grazie per tuo interesse di diventare il *primo* DB2 Student Ambassador all'Universita di Salerno! Considera comincare un "DB2 in Campagnia" group (o un altro nome, come ti ho scritto)! Auguri!!
