Hi Meisam, do you want to participate in the 1Q2009 DB2 on Campus newsletter? If so, please update the wiki with your profile and articles you'd like to write. Thanks
I would say you have what you need to get in the right path - The desire to do something with your life. Ignore all the negative stuff that people tell you over and over just to get you down. Take good care of the people that enable and believes in you. Then just work hard to show your value to persons that can help you in the way. When the time is right to ask for an opportunity you'll see that it was easier than what you would expect.
BTW yes I'm in new york. If you need a talk just go to about.nunojob.com.
Hi Meisam, see this discussion in DB2 in Brazil: Translate or not? (and also see my response). Start a similar discussion on DB2 in Malaysia (after you create it) to see what the students think, and if they're interested in helping with the translation of the certification material into your own language. I checked with the manager, and the names of the translators can appear on the first page of the certification material, e.g., on the first page of each tutorial, and also on the first page of each presentation. Not only does this get the students interested in certification, they can learn the material as they're translating it! ;-) Thanks!

It is a brilliant idea, we're going to have DB2 in Malaysia. I think I can get the MMU students to join this ChannelDB2. =)
Hi Meisam, you can create a "DB2 Student Ambassador... FAQ" discussion on your "DB2 in Malaysia" group on channel DB2 (after you create it). It's fine if you yourself create the group, after all you were the first ambassador in Malaysia ;-) (I'm getting all the first ambassadors in each country to create their "DB2 in ......." group, even if some are already working now, e.g., Caroline Perlin from Brazil, who is now working for IBM Brazil. Thanks for contributing and and staying in touch. ;-)
Hi Meisam, don't worry about the delay in responding. There's no rush to create the groups, just when you're ready. I'll send a message to Musa to welcome him. Also, after the groups are created on channelDB2 and on facebook.com, do you want to add a "DB2 Student Ambassador... FAQ" discussion, giving some details of what you did as ambassador and how it has helped you (the way that Sergio did for the DB2 in Naples group). Just from what Sergio wrote, we now have 4 new ambassadors in Naples! Therefore, students prefer to hear from their peers what's involved in the program. Thanks!
Hi again, Meisam, as a DB2 ambassador, do you want to create a "DB2 in Malaysia" group on channelDB2 and get students from your university to join? We're creating a whole series of "DB2 in ......." groups to promote DB2 and collaborate, share stories, etc. Do you have a link to a DB2 student user group that I can add to this group? Are you working on any DB2 projects at your university? Thanks! Looking forward to your response.
Hi Meisam, please request to join some of the other student ambassador and DB2 on Campus groups I created. Nice to be your friend on channelDB2! Hope you'll participate in some of our discussions too.
