Hi Raul. What is the best forum for a technical query?. I have just installed this on my windows vista machine(home so no windows groups). Everything is fine until I start to do SYSADM commands e.g. backup. When I look at table priviliges SYSTEM has all but nothing else. How can I assign SYSADM to a specific use ?
Hi Sai Surya Kiran, please send a note to db2univ at ca.ibm.com. Someone monitoring that email address will reply to you. Provide your resume, and a paragraph indicating why you'd be a good ambassador.
I'm from Brazil, Curitiba city and I would like to say that I have produced a personal video from IBM telling my history as a Student Ambassador. Please take a look when you have a free time and feel free to put this video in your presentation for new students.
I have spoken to Agatha about this video and she liked. She will post this video in the first DB2 on Campus newsletter.
Please see the video link below:
If you wish download the video you can find it in:
I would like to thank Andrea Rodacki that presented this proposal for us and all students and all her support on it.
Do you remember your visit on FAE university at Curitiba city? If so, My name is Thiago Rossetto and I doing part of this group... It's really nice to see over here!
I have good news =). At last friday me and two guys from PUC-PR (other university) get a 730 certification. hey, this is so nice, I'm very happy for this! For the next year I'll start to study for the other certifcation... The 732 is my goal. As now I'm working with DB2 for z/OS.
I have just joined the db2 program and Agatha Colangelo pointed you out to me. Apparently I am the first db2 ambassador in the university of Toronto. Just wondering what sort of information do I need to obtain in the next little while?
Hi Raul, meet Mikhail Temkine, U of T's first DB2 student ambassador, and Canada's first as well! You'll be surprised to know he's also a chef (see his blog)! Therefore, he'll keep his DB2 user group well fed at least (when they're too tired to learn any more about DB2). ;-)
