I dont know if I have enough nmaterial this time. but are previous speakers invited to the conf(no conf charges) or are there group charges that way I know if I can push the company to send some folks. Its tough times for business so may be harder for all, Let me know if IBM maybe willing to invite as a coutesy some former speakers to atleast attract and create interest. I belong to Bangalore, I had attended a Developer works seminar at Taj residence last november i guess.
Ravi Ahuja and Mallarswami Voinkere were speakers. Mallarswami Voinkere gave talk on XML.Earlier I was working in Bangalore. Recently I changed to new company. Now I work for COGNIZANT TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS.

Anil, it's up to Soumitra to contact db2univ@ca.ibm.com if he wants to become an ambassador. Also, we already have 10 ambassadors in India. Unless Soumitra is in a university that doesn't have any DB2 ambassadors yet, it's unlikely we'll accept him at this time. However, he's more than welcomed to join the DB2 User Groups in India.

Hi Anil, an Italian student has already translated the article you sent me; I'm in the process of getting him sign the copyright form. Where do you want us to publish the Italian version? I assume we should find sites in Italy where users are likely to find the translated articles.

Also, do you want a parallel text version that includes both the English/Italian text, or just an Italian version?

If you have other articles to be translated, send them to me and I'll get them translated. Thanks!
