I'm purchasing a new Lenovo X200 laptop for myself. This is one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had in online shopping. I placed the order December 27. When I ordered, I asked for second day shipping. What the web does not say is to expect 10 working days to ship the machine before the 2 or 5 days of shipping. So I waited.

Now, the shipment lists a tracking number, but the tracking number is wrong. The date is January 14, 19 days later, and either they shipped the unit, but it has not arrived or they have not shipped it. The order status lists as shipped, but I paid for second day air, and the "shipment" was a week ago. When I call, someone says they will get back to me, but no one has. It's challenging to get all of my work done and to spend 20 minutes a day listening to music, getting no real answers.

How long does it take to find a tracking number? How long to find the right tracking number?

Now it's time to get back to finishing presentations for Share in March and IDUG in May and getting some writing done.
