It's the end of the shipping saga. The package showed up at the house. The package tracking can now tell the tale. The package came from Shanghai, China. It was sent out from Shanghai on January 8 and arrived in Ontario, California on the same day, nearly the same time, due to time zone changes. Then it sat in customs for 6 or seven days, and finally to Oakland, and delivery here in San Jose today.

I'm purchasing a new Lenovo X200 laptop for myself. This is one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had in online shopping. I placed the order December 27. When I ordered, I asked for second day shipping. What the web does not say is to expect 10 working days to ship the machine before the 2 or 5 days of shipping. So I waited.
