Hi Isabelle, see this discussion in DB2 in Brazil: Translate or not? (and also see my response). Start a similar discussion on DB2 in France to see what the students think, and if they're interested in helping with the translation of the certification material into French. I checked with the manager, and the names of the translators can appear on the first page of the certification material, e.g., on the first page of each tutorial, and also on the first page of each presentation. Not only does this get the students interested in certification, they can learn the material as they're translating it! ;-) Thanks!

Hi Agatha,

Well I could also allow their names to be listed as contributors, as I too was a student at one time and understand what recognition means to them :).

They could do the part, their names would appear in the Article Contributions list alongside my name.

So kindly let me know if this is exactly what you are looking for.

I am sorry to say that I cannot reward anyone financially. But I can definitely acknowledge their efforts.

Hi, I joined this group because I love France as much as I love Italy, and also to open a discussion to let you know some of the things we did with the Italian translation of the book (already completed). I'm sorry but I can only read and understand spoken French (if spoken slowly); I've forgotten how to write it because it's been many years since I studied it and have not practiced it in a long time. So we will have to communicate in English.
