Data continues to grow in volume, variety and velocity, and organizations struggle to make well informed and timely decisions based on analytical insights. One of the challenges that organizations face is the integration and synchronization of near real-time operational data from the business with data in the historical warehouse, and being able to perform analytics on the combined information "at the speed of thought."
IBM InfoSphere Warehouse and its underlying IBM DB2 architecture provide this capability natively, allowing users (en masse) to perform point queries and analytics on the Operational Data Store (ODS) and data warehouse that support mission critical operational business processes and decisions. Additionally, Hadoop can be integrated to work hand-in-hand with InfoSphere Warehouse to process massive volumes of information that provides immediate insight into areas such as real-time customer sentiment and fraud analysis.
Come hear Bill O’Connell, IBM’s own Data Warehousing CTO and Distinguished Engineer, walk through how IBM’s current customers are architecting their data warehouse environment to accelerate business decisions and gain real competitive advantage.
