This DB2 Chat with the Lab was held on May 24, 2007.

DB2 9 adds a more sophisticated form of statistic to capture complex relationships among search conditions and across tables. This presentation will discuss how they work and how to use them. It also provides some background on selectivity and cardinality estimation. Our speakers will be Sal Vella, Vice President, DB2 Development for Linux, Unix and Windows and John Hornibrook, Manager, DB2 for LUW Query Optimization.
